- 2 Cans Werling & Sons Chicken
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 40oz bottle of BBQ Sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8-10 fresh garlic cloves
- 6 servings of Coleslaw
- 6-8 Kaiser Buns
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons oil and add the sliced onions and 8-10 whole garlic cloves
- When the onions start to get tender, add Werling & Sons chicken and the bottle of barbecue sauce.
- Place the lid on the pot and put the whole thing in the preheated oven for about ½ hour.
- Give it a taste and add salt and pepper if needed.
- Allow to cool and serve on toasted Kaiser Rolls and coleslaw.
