-1 can Werling’s goetta
-2 large green peppers
-2 medium unions
-1/2LB mushrooms
-6 slices toasted bread
-Butter
-Salt/Pepper
Directions
-Preheat your oven to 300 degrees
-Fry the goetta until its crispy
-In a separate pan, sauté cut-up green peppers, mushrooms and onions.
-Add butter and salt to taste.
-Boil 4-5 large lasagna noodles, drain and remove from pot.
-On the bottom of a baking dish (13 by 9 by 12) spread half the crispy goetta and cover it with 3 slices of American cheese and 4 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese.
-Add half of the vegetables on top of cheese then cover with the lasagna noodles.
-Add second layer of the remaining vegetables and American cheese and another 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese.
-Add last of heated goetta.
-Crumble toast atop the lasagna.
-Bake in the oven for 20-25. Serve.
